I was not happy with the hours of operation of the YMCA so I switched to a local 24-hour gym. I was informed I wouldn't be expecting any other charges when I canceled. The same time I went to sign up for a different membership, the YMCA took their membership fee out of my account so I had the charge from the YMCA which went through and the charge for my new gym returned unpaid. I was told the charge was a complete oversight by someone named Dan and that I would need to talk to him about refunding the charge and reimbursement for any fees on my bank account due to the error. It has been about a week since I have left him a message. He has not bothered to contact me. The refund for the membership fee went through, but I feel that they too are responsible for the fee on my bank account as I would have had enough funds in my account to cover my new membership had they not charged my account like they had stated when I cancelled. Since then, my new gym has tried to charge again plus their fee for having a payment returned. This too will be returned unpaid and result in another fee on my bank account. I am really upset and even though I canceled my membership at the YMCA I could have been a returning customer as my daughter really enjoyed swimming lessons there.
This place is great. They have all kinds of kids activities, they have a work out gym. They have swimming and much more. They even have day care as well.
